Care Providers of Minnesota Convention & Exposition

Dare to be Great
November 17 - 19, 2008 Hyatt Regency Minneapolis

This year’s theme is Dare to be Great where the Care Providers of Minnesota seek to explore ways that long-term care is changing and reflect the many ways this organization is leaving their own unique mark in the history of long-term care.

In business, we make decisions on a daily basis but are they the right decisions?  Do I have enough insurance coverage?  Should I sign this contract? What should I do with this claim?  Should I pay this bill?

Our panel discussion will examine real life decisions that business owners make related to insurance and how those decisions can affect the business.  The importance of a properly designed insurance program, the insurance implications of each contract you sign, the financial impact of insurance claims, and how audits can be audited will be discussed.  Buying insurance is one risk management technique and this panel discussion will point out other techniques that may better serve your business.

Please come visit and join us for our panel discussion on:

Care Providers of Minnesota Convention & Exposition

This year’s theme is Architects of Excellence where the Care Providers of Minnesota seek to explore ways that long-term care is being redesigned and discover the important roles we all play as architects of its future.

As Architects of Excellence, we are creating a community and refined focus of long-term care designed in appreciation and recognition of the needs of Minnesota’s elderly population.

KMA, Inc. is taking a direct approach in helping to create this community and focus in a number of ways which include participating in the Architects of Excellence convention on November 14th.  We look forward to shedding a light on the needs of the long-term care industry by exploring “The Hidden Costs of Workers’ Compensation.”

We will examine the financial impact of a variety of Worker’s Compensation claims typically experienced by the health care professional.  The value of closely monitoring all aspects of the claim process and the associated impact to the premiums will be expressed numerically and contrasted to both good and bad claims management.  Claims management, experience modification rating, and marketing of the Workers’ Compensation premium will be explored while also educating the public on the multitude of alternatives available in a deregulated market.

KMA, Inc. will be presenting on the morning of November 14th, 2007 and we are looking forward to becoming an active Architect of Excellence in the fascinating and complex industry of long-term care.

A Spectacular Send-Off

If he can’t see at least ten years ahead, don’t call him an architect.” You’ll leave this year’s closing session with greater vision and confidence that you have all the tools you need to build this new community of caring.
